Commercial Real Estate Paralegal!

One of our clients, a small real estate law firm in suburban Maryland, is looking for a Paralegal to join the team.
In this role, you would be the only Paralegal. You would be working with a fantastic group of 10 attorneys and 3 Legal Assistants. The attorneys are very self-sufficient. The team would want you primarily to focus mostly on Title and Survey work. As the team Paralegal, you could turn this into a leadership role.
In this role, you would be responsible for:
Review of commercial real estate title insurance commitments and surveys working toward acceptable final title insurance policies.
Preparing closing documents and reviewing due diligence documentation.
Preparation of collateral descriptions and financing statements.
Perform paralegal duties and responsibilities as directed by assigned attorneys
Monitor and meet deadlines under purchase and sale or other agreements.
Perform all assignments in strict compliance with ethical guidelines governing the practice of law.
Juggle multiple assignments in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
Possess impeccable attention to detail and analytical skills.
Be a self-starter, detail-oriented with strong organizational and verbal/written communication skills.
Use initiative and discretion in accomplishing routine assignments with minimum supervision.
Ability to manage a large workload in a fast-paced work environment.
Job Requirements:
BA or AA degree and Paralegal Certificate preferred, but not necessary (Experience is most important).
Two plus years of experience with commercial real estate transactions, specifically title and survey; law firm or title company experience preferred; or any combination of training. education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
Demonstrate strong organizational and writing skills.
This will be an in-office position. The core working hours are 9 am-5:30 pm. There is not expected to be much overtime.
