Legal HR/Recruiting Coordinator!

One of our favorite mid-sized law firm clients is looking for a Human Resources/Recruiting Coordinator to play a pivotal role in attracting, recruiting, and onboarding top-tier legal talent to support the firm. Primary responsibilities would include managing the end-to-end recruiting process for both staff and attorney positions, collaborating with practice group leaders and managers to understand their needs, and ensure a seamless and efficient recruiting experience for both candidates and internal team members.
Essential Job Duties
Manage the hiring process from start to finish for attorneys and staff, with assistance from the Director of Human Resources and the HR Assistant
Draft and post job descriptions to attract candidates, work with staffing firms, evaluate resumes, schedule and occasionally conduct screening interviews, manage new hire paperwork with HR Assistant
Design and implement overall recruiting strategy with Director of Human Resources
Collaborate with managers and practice group leaders to determine requirements and specific job objectives
Work closely with Recruiting Committee on hiring objectives
Assist with new-employee orientations; administer pre-employment tests; coordinate reference checks
Assist in the exit interview process
Coordinate the implementation of organizational training and development efforts
Assist employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures
Maintain accurate and confidential personnel files
Assist with benefits administration and reconciliation, including tracking reports for the Director of Human Resources
Recommend and implement improvements to recruitment process and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Required Education and Experience
A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution is requested. A certification in HR or recruiting is strongly preferred
3+ years previous Human Resources or Recruiting experience in a law firm
Additional Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Experience or familiarity with ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred
Experience with an applicant tracking system (e.g., iCIMS)
Proven experience in recruiting within a legal or professional services environment
Exceptional organizational and critical thinking skills
Compensation
Base salary up to $120,000 commensurate with experience
